Principal supplier quality engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead supplier quality activities for ASME B&PV Code materials and components tied to the AP1000 NSSS. You’ll work within the APX Supplier Quality Team to ensure suppliers meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will conduct audits, oversight, and verification at supplier facilities, driving continuous improvement and compliance. This position combines field presence with strategic QA planning, offering exposure to nuclear safety-critical engineering and international collaboration. Retribuzione / Benefits Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans to ensure quality and technical standards Resolve supplier quality issues impacting product quality Perform independent assessments to confirm effective quality management systems for nuclear safety-related materials and ASME B&PV Code components Monitor progress to meet quality goals within budget and schedule Create certification documents identifying procurement requirements met by materials or equipment Lead assessments of the global supply base for compliance with regulations, codes and standards Evaluate supplier quality plans and processes for compliance with Westinghouse engineering requirements Apply advanced QC techniques and statistical methods to identify deficiency causes and trends Write QA plan segments according to NRC, Westinghouse and customer standards Implement policies on scope and retention of QA documentation Responsabilità Bachelor's degree in engineering 5+ years of experience as a Supplier Quality Professional or similar role Audit and supplier surveillance experience Experience operating within a formal quality management system (ISO 9001, AS9100, ASME NQA-1) Ability to travel internationally; valid passport or feasibility to obtain one NQA-1 Lead Auditor experience is desirable Proficiency with generating and managing electronic quality documents and records Experience with inspection tools and testing equipment is desirable (IMTE) Requisiti fondamentali Attractive remuneration Hybrid work options Welfare Plan Performance bonus Employee Assistance Program Learning and development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
