In this role you drive value for Energy & Air Systems by turning mill needs into tailored solutions. You’ll work with sales, engineering, and field services to develop technical and commercial proposals. You’ll conduct mill audits, analyze data, and present impactful recommendations that improve production processes. You will engage with customers, negotiate scope and pricing, and help shape high‑value solutions within an international team. This is an opportunity to influence outcomes in a global industrial setting.

  • Pursue sales leads, visit customers, and target revenue across the Energy & Air Systems portfolio
  • Assess customer needs and propose suitable technologies, products, and services
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery times within authority limits and finalize sales orders
  • Identify prospective customers and build long‑term relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales, Application, Product Management, Engineering, and Field Services to create proposals
  • Develop commercial and technical proposals with dimensioning, layouts, and specifications, highlighting production and cost impact
  • Prepare process calculations and basic requirements using Valmet dimensioning tools
  • Carry out mill audits, analyze data, and prepare reports and recommended solutions
  • Support Market Areas in defining scope of supply and preparing quotations per Valmet specifications and policies

Responsabilità

  • Technical Diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or software‑related field; Engineering degree preferred
  • At least five years of experience in engineering, technology, or sales
  • Ability to convert customer needs into sales opportunities
  • Strong relationship‑building in an international matrix environment
  • Knowledge of tissue production processes considered an advantage
  • Travel readiness
  • Fluency in English and Italian
