About The Role
The primary function of the Robot Welder is to control the automated welding process. The role reports to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and is located on the Monfalcone site.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and operate welding robots according to WPS and production specifications.
- Program or adjust welding parameters (paths, speed, cycles).
- Visually inspect weld quality and report any defects.
- Perform minor routine maintenance and cleaning on the robot and equipment, in collaboration with the maintenance department.
- Manage equipment changeovers (fixtures, jigs, torches) and ensure correct component positioning.
- Prepare progress status reports.
- Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanics/mechatronics.
- Familiarity with WPS (Welding Process Specifications).
- Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
The gross base annual salary range for this position is estimated to be €29,100 to €37,000, depending on experience, qualifications and skills.
