When you join Amazon as an Area/Shift Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to keep your area of the business in pace with demand. You will implement your team’s approach to drive productivity and work closely with colleagues to address challenges, ensuring no two days are the same.

- Analyse and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity, meeting business objectives across all shifts.
- Support and lead a team, handling administrative work while building and sustaining a strong team culture.
- Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and enhance customer service.
- Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes.
A Day In The Life
You’ll work shifts based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be maintaining safety standards within your team and across the site while monitoring and maintaining process efficiency. Each day will involve prioritising routine team‑management and daily operational tasks, as well as individual escalations, process‑improvement work and large‑scale operational contingency planning.
As a key part of the operations team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analysing data and performance metrics with business leaders and discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.
Basic Qualifications
- Completed university degree before the start date or graduated within the last 24 months.
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and the local language.
- Relevant experience in performing data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Experience in a logistical working environment.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
Salary and Locations
Alessandria, ITA – 34,700.00 EUR annually.
Torrazza, ITA – 34,700.00 EUR annually.
The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed above. The base salary corresponds to working full‑time; for part‑time hours it will be pro‑rated. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on skills and experience. The compensation package may include a sign‑on payment and participation in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA.
