Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef to join COYA for future projects.
Experience you will need
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar role in a high‑end brand
- Previous experience in pre‑opening, including kitchen set‑up, team training & recruitment, and menu development
- Relevant experience in a high‑volume, high‑end kitchen environment and attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, including working with limitations such as allergies
- Overall responsibility for kitchen staffing levels, keeping them in line with business trends while maintaining the highest standards of service and quality and adhering to an agreed labour budget
- Responsible for managing all staffing issues within the Kitchen department including rotas, hiring, holiday cover, in‑house training, professional development, performance management and day‑to‑day feedback on performance
- Consistently foster a spirit of harmony and cohesion between the kitchen brigade and all other departments
- Complete understanding and compliance with the Company policies relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
- Friendly, attentive and customer‑service focused
- High level of both spoken and written Italian and English
