Mission

In this role, you will support the application of the Corporate and Company policies, developing and implementing security policies, guidelines, procedures and protocols, for the security of Company assets, projects and business travels. We are offering a fixed‑term contract to cover a maternity leave.

Key Accountabilities Compliance Monitoring

Ensure that the organization complies with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

Monitor and track changes in regulations and update relevant stakeholders.

Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.

Collaborate with other departments to analyze and mitigate risks.

Training and Education

Support the development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees.

Help create educational materials to promote awareness of health and safety issues.

Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents, or near‑misses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.

Assist in the documentation of incidents and the implementation of corrective actions.

Data Analysis

Collect and analyze HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Prepare reports on HSE performance and make recommendations based on the analysis.

Emergency Response Planning

Contribute to the development and testing of emergency response plans.

Assist in organizing drills and training exercises for emergency situations.

Inspections and Audits

Support regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.

Document findings and work with relevant teams to address any deficiencies.

Communication

Assist in the communication of HSE policies and procedures to employees.

Participate in HSE meetings and collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records related to HSE activities.

Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory agencies and internal audits.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSE processes and procedures.

Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate relevant updates into the HSE program.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Healthcare.

Qualifications

Up to 1–2 max years of exposure to HSE activities through internships, academic projects, or initial work experience, preferably in industrial or construction environments. Health and safety certifications are considered a plus for entry‑level candidates.

  • OSHA 30‑Hour or OSHA 10‑Hour General Industry Certification;
  • First Aid and CPR certifications;
  • NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health);

ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional).

Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, with willingness to further develop and stay updated.

Ability to support data collection and perform basic analysis to help identify trends related to health, safety, and environmental performance.

Exposure (academic or practical) to risk assessments and safety audits, with the ability to assist in ensuring compliance with local and international standards under supervision.

Ability to support the development and delivery of HSE training and awareness initiatives, with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Fluent knowledge of both Italian and English.
