CRUISE SHIP'S DOCTOR - ONBOARD POSITION

We're Hiring: Ship’s Doctor – Cruise Ship Assignment

Join the medical team of a prestigious passenger cruise line sailing under the Italian flag!

Your Role:

Provide medical care to both passengers and crew, working as part of a structured onboard medical department under the supervision of a Medical Director.

Requirements:

- Medical Degree and specialization (Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or other relevant specializations) - Minimum 3 years post-grad clinical experience - At least 6 months in emergency settings (ER, ICU, ambulance, etc.) - Enrollment in Italian Doctors Professional Order (Ordine Provinciale dei Medici Chirurghi ed Odontoiatri) - Fluent in English (B2 level or higher) and in Italian (B1) - Valid ACLS, ATLS, APLS (or equivalent) - Willingness to work onboard ~6 months/year (split into 3–4 month contracts) - Compulsory certification for navigation (STCW) or willingness to obtain the courses - Strong clinical documentation & IT skills

Important for EU Doctors:

EU candidates must have their qualifications recognized by the Italian Ministry of Health, be registered with an Italian Medical Council, and obtain a Medico di Bordo license.

Contract & Benefits:
