As Lead, Global Reliability Engineering, you will define the global reliability vision for Innovative Medicine, focusing on predictive maintenance and practical tech adoption to boost uptime. You collaborate with manufacturing sites to drive high-impact reliability programs and accelerate digital maturity. You translate data into actionable improvements and help standardize practices across the network. This role offers meaningful impact through technology-enabled reliability at a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global reliability strategy with predictive maintenance and analytics as the north star
- Identify, develop, and deploy reliability technologies (PdM, condition monitoring, AI/ML, sensors, digital twins)
- Speed up adoption of scalable technologies to reduce unplanned downtime
- Partner with sites to address critical reliability risks and lead high-visibility programs
- Create global standards and best practices for reliability (RCA, asset criticality, lifecycle processes)
- Leverage KPIs and dashboards to drive transparency and targeted interventions
- Collaborate with Global Maintenance, Automation, and IT to integrate reliability tech with CMMS, ERP, and data platforms
- Provide guidance on predictive maintenance strategy, implementation, and capability building
- Support long-range asset-reliability roadmaps aligned with digital and operational trends
- Coach a network of reliability engineers to strengthen site capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
- 10-15+ years in reliability/maintenance engineering or technical operations in regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong expertise in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and digital reliability tools
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-site reliability programs with measurable improvements
- Experience with RCA, criticality analysis, lifecycle asset management, and reliability frameworks
- Familiarity with digital systems such as CMMS, asset-performance platforms, and industrial data architectures
- Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills across functions and global teams
- Strong business and operational acumen; GMP manufacturing experience preferred
