Global Process Owner (Record-to-Report)
The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Record-to-Report is responsible for leading the global development of the RtR process area, focusing on long-term outcomes and continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with Kalmar’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global process initiatives: drive the execution of process development, ensuring effective, high-quality, and compliant results by optimizing people, financial, and technical resources.
- Drive strategic harmonization: identify and challenge process deviations to ensure a unified, compliant, and cost‑effective way of working that aligns with global business needs.
- Strategic RtR process planning & documentation: facilitate the scoping of key initiatives, maintain the transformation roadmap, and ensure all processes are documented with clear inputs, outputs, and interdependencies.
- Advance automation & IM tools: partner with Information Management to integrate modern tools and functionalities that drive automation and digital transformation across the RtR landscape.
- Facilitate performance governance: develop and monitor Process Performance Indicators to ensure transparency, track performance, and support functional teams during execution.
- Facilitate global governance: serve as the bridge between Process Governance Forums and the RtR function, managing information flow and collaboration on critical process changes.
- Enable cross‑functional alignment: influence stakeholders at various levels to drive collaboration and execution of the process roadmap, ensuring technology needs and business requirements are aligned across all departments.

Requirements
- Experience & Background
- Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a listed company.
- Previous GPO role in an organization of similar scale and complexity (highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of finance process setups and proven execution focus.
- Professional Expertise & Competencies
- Robust knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles within a global, listed company environment.
- Proven skills in process methodologies and management (e.g., SIPOC, BPMN, Six Sigma, Lean).
- Systems‑thinking mindset with ability to leverage technology and IM tools.
- Strong project management and change‑management skills for navigating organizational shifts.
- Leadership & Soft Skills
- Stakeholder influence with ability to manage and influence diverse global teams.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills for translating complex process needs into actionable insights.
- Strategic leadership presence to lead global initiatives and develop necessary resources.
