Descrizione:

We are seeking an Insurance Assistant to join the team and play a key role in insurance administration, claims management, and policy monitoring within a dynamic maritime environment.

Main Duties

  • Comprehension of insurance policy wording for H&M, P&I and crew medical policies.
  • Obtaining endorsements from underwriters.
  • Assisting and contacting captains write letters of protest and advising on submitting claims.
  • Understanding shipyard contracts and completing waivers during refits and reviewing contracts.
  • Continuous checking of all insurance policies on going every month, with amendments. Keeping renewal list up to date, weekly or monthly depending on changes.
  • Prechecking of proposal forms and verifying for changes.Assisting the accounts teams with payments and reimbursements.
  • Uploading and filing documents to the online box system/SP, within the insurance folders when necessary.

  • Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe (Basic Photoshop, PDF), Internet.
