Global Process Engineer - Welding and Heat Treatment Specialista Senior / Project Manager

In this role you will develop and deploy global process standards to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes. You will analyze data, drive cross‑functional improvements, and lead standardization to reduce costs while introducing new technology and process capabilities. You’ll coach a network of factory engineers and apply lean methods to realize SQDC outcomes. This position offers broad exposure to manufacturing, quality, and process development within a diverse, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes; define and deploy global process and equipment standards across factories

Define and control global manufacturing asset processes, including facility integration, testing, maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and training

Validate engineering specs and shop‑floor application of new processes across multiple teams (EHS, Quality, Materials, Sourcing)

Partner with channels on new repair processes and qualifications

Develop reliability improvement strategies using FMEA and RCA

Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety to implement preventive and predictive programs

Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve quality processes

Lead investigations into failures and implement robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Provide technical support for asset management, including life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization

Train local factory manufacturing engineers and deepen process/equipment expertise

Participate in design and installation of new equipment ensuring reliability from the outset (Design for Reliability)

Interpret business challenges and share best practices to improve products, processes or services

Use judgment to solve complex problems and propose solutions beyond set parameters

Lead functional teams or projects with limited resources and influence stakeholders

Qualifications

7+ years industrial manufacturing or quality experience (US)

5+ years in a technical role with Welding & Heat Treatment (US)

Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes

Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics

Project management skills and experience
