In this role you will manage the commercial delivery of MEP packages on a major data centre project in Milan, ensuring cost control and contract compliance. You will work closely with project teams to optimise value across the lifecycle and support procurement, valuations, and change management. This is a high‑value, technically complex assignment within a European data centre portfolio. You will contribute to delivering mission‑critical infrastructure by integrating financial and contractual governance with project execution.   • Manage the commercial delivery of MEP packages from procurement through to final account
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract packages including scope and pricing analysis
  • Monitor subcontractor performance against budget, programme, and quality requirementsAssess and process interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage change control procedures in line with contract obligations
  • Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial updates for senior management
  • Support procurement activities including tender analysis, subcontractor selection, and cost benchmarking
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, risk management procedures, and internal QA/QC standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate cost capture and reporting
  • Assist in the preparation and resolution of claims and commercial disputes where required

Responsabilità

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on large‑scale construction projects
  • Experience managing MEP packages on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other mission‑critical projects (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control processes, and commercial management principles
  • Proven experience in subcontract procurement, valuations, and variation management
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial management software platforms
