Experteer Overview
In this role you will manage a portfolio of merchant partners in the Italian travel sector, driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling within Scalapay’s ecosystem. You will lead consultative engagements, optimize integrations, and collaborate with marketing and affiliates to scale merchant success. You will also analyze data to uncover opportunities and present findings to stakeholders, shaping how Scalapay is positioned in travel. This role combines field interactions with data-driven strategy to expand our merchant network.
Retribuzione / Benefits
Retain and grow merchant portfolio via sales calls, business reviews, and regular check-ins to increase Total Transaction Volume and revenue
Identify opportunities for product upselling and cross-selling within Scalapay's ecosystem
Manage Go-Live of portfolio and support go-to-market and merchant negotiations to shorten time-to-market
Optimize integration and collaboration to maximize penetration across the portfolio
Provide consultancy to merchants on revenue and marketing optimization using Scalapay Value Proposition
Coordinate co-marketing with merchants and internal Affiliate/Marketing teams to attract Scalapay customers
Utilize data analysis to spot opportunities and present tailored sales presentations
Create case studies and best practices to scale account management activities and improve sales conversion
Test new approaches to grow volume and revenue and provide weekly forecasts
Advocate for merchants with internal stakeholders to improve business model, integrations, products, and services
Support team strategy to position Scalapay as a travel BNPL leader
Meet merchants in person through on-site visits, fairs, events and field activities (travel ~30%)
Stay informed about industry trends and act as the innovation expert in travel
Responsabilità
Strong business acumen
Proven ability to grow partnerships
Proven upselling and cross-selling experience to maximize merchant portfolio volume
Excellent communication, proactive, organized and data-driven
Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
Proficiency in Italian; English required
MEDDIC knowledge is a plus
2/3 years experience in account management and/or business consulting, preferably in travel
Requisiti fondamentali
base salary: EUR 35,000–40,000
variable compensation: EUR 10,000–15,000
