ACCOUNTING INTERN
Objectives
- Support accurate and timely bookkeeping activities of Wolford subsidiaries
- Assist the Accounting team in daily operations and month-end closing activities
- Gain hands-on experience in accounting processes within an international environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative and financial processes
Main Tasks
- Registration and posting of supplier invoices (AP booking)
- Support in accounts payable and receivable activities
- Assistance in month-end closing activities (e.g. reconciliations, data preparation)
- Support in balance sheet account reconciliations
- Data entry and verification of accounting records
- Collaboration with internal departments (e.g. Controlling, HR, Wholesale)
- Filing and documentation of accounting records
- Support in ad hoc requests from the Finance department
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar
- Strong interest in accounting and finance processes
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good analytical skills and willingness to learn
- Proactive and team-oriented mindset
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English, any other European language would be a plus
- Immediate availability would be a plus
