Experteer Overview

In this role, you will lead supply acquisition for high-quality professional inventory in Italy, shaping Airbnb’s market presence and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. You’ll develop and iterate scalable, localized strategies to grow professional hosts and drive sustainable market success. You’ll engage with hosts as a market expert, analyze data to spot opportunities, and ensure excellent service and alignment with product and policy. This is a strategic, hands‑on position in the Homes (EMEA) team.

• Prospect and onboard new, high-quality professional hosts in the assigned territory
• Create and deploy scaled strategies to acquire Professional Hosts
• Represent Airbnb in external meetings with Professional Hosts as a credible market expert
• Analyze data to identify strategic opportunities and drive sales growth
• Develop deep knowledge of the assigned geographic markets
• Build and manage partner relationships within the territory
• Understand and communicate about technical integrations of software partners to support clients
• Educate clients on product changes and provide feedback to internal teams
• Respond to professional hosts with timely and excellent serviceWork cross‑functionally with product, communications, public policy, and customer support for long‑term market success

Responsabilità

• 6+ years of sales experience
• 2+ years in hospitality/travel industry (nice to have)
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Strong B2B sales/new business development experience
• Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication with clients
• Experience building/extending relationships with external partners
• Comfort with data analysis and data-driven decision making
• Willingness/ability to travel to assigned markets
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Hospitality/travel experience in the region is a plus
• Highly proficient with CRM software;
  Salesforce experience is a plus
• Charismatic, self-starter, resourceful
• Fluency in Italian and English
