Job Description Join our API Gateway Operations team and contribute to the quality and reliability of our API ecosystem. You will play a key role in validating and ensuring the quality of APIs developed in-house and exposed through our API Gateway platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Your Missions: Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for custom-developed APIs and backend APIs exposed via API Gateway Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across distributed systems Validate API behavior, including authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys), request/response transformations, error handling, and edge cases Ensure APIs meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API testing Implement automated test suites using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, SoapUI, and JMeter Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Maintain reusable test data and mock services Validate API configurations in the API Gateway layer, including routing rules and policies (rate limiting, security, transformation) Test end-to-end flows across API Gateway, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and backend services Identify and troubleshoot integration issues across systems Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for API testing and validation, automating test execution, reporting, and quality gates Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment quality and speed Define and enforce API testing standards and best practices Ensure proper test coverage across all API layers Maintain clear documentation for test cases, frameworks, and pipelines Participate in code reviews and design discussions Your Profile: Experience in API testing and automation (5+ years) Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML payloads Proven experience with test automation frameworks Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and integration Experience validating API Gateway-based architectures Strong understanding of
