You will play a key role in expanding our Italian portfolio, with a particular focus on the refurbishment and new builds of hotels and student accommodation properties. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about the hospitality industry, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and possess a strong track record of project delivery.Provide cost management services through pre and post contract processTo support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstancesTo carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and proceduresAssist and drive forward the preparation of cost plans; including measurementSupport with value engineering studies and analysisWork with senior members of staff to gather market testing data of key elements for the developmentsSupport and assist the data analysis on design efficiencies, benchmark comparisonPrepare and assist with the preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluations, contract documentations and reportsPrepare and assist with the scrutinising and verifying applications for interim paymentsPrepare and assist with the management of change control in accordance with contractsPrepare and assist with the production of cost reports and cost forecastingAdvising and liaising with internal project and cost control teamKey AttributesDegree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or similar technical disciplineIdeally a minimum of 2 +years’ experience of working in the Real Estate industryA team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitiousLikeable and warm personality which will fit in and become an integral part of the teamA track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines Ideally Hospitality or Student Accommodation backgroundCumming Groupis committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
