What You Will Do
In this vital role you will:
- supports all interaction for successful coverage and reimbursement decisions to maximize patient access;
- ensure the Field Access team is constantly supported with value tools, cost-effectiveness and BIA publications
- support Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)/HTA external KOL network;
- support the strategy to obtain market access for products at country level by managing timely preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files;
- support the proposal and implementation of the agreed local market access strategy until P&R and during the life cycle of the product by working closely with Medical, Marketing, Sales & Finance to secure broad product access for Amgen new and existing product portfolio;
- map and support in local payer/provider interactions with value evidence;
- support the development and roll out an engagement strategy with key payers and other relevant opinion leaders (e.g. advisory boards) to support market access activities;
- support reimbursement/pricing negotiations
- support the development of regional dossier and BIA adaptation
- keep EU and global colleagues informed about and seek support on all ongoing submissions
- liaise with EU and global colleagues to create a strong relationship and support the affiliate success;
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Health Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines)
- Early professional experience (0–2 years), including internships, in pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies, consulting, public institutions, or healthcare-related settings
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly
- Solid analytical and quantitative mindset, with attention to detail
- Genuine interest in the healthcare environment and evolving market dynamics
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, with a structured and proactive approach
- Problem-solving attitude, with willingness to learn and contribute to innovative solutions
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams in an international environment
- Basic understanding of national and regional healthcare systems
- Academic or initial professional exposure to oncology or hematology
