What Impact Will You Have?

The Safety Intern will support the Safety Manager and Deputy in the daily activities of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) in AOC, ATO, CAMO and Part. 145 certifications. The role involves assisting in safety data collection and analysis, supporting safety investigations, preparing safety documentation and reporting, and contributing to safety-related initiatives across the organization. This is a learning-focused position suitable for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and an interest in Business Aviation and Safety Management.

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Assist the Safety Manager and Deputy in the investigation and analysis of Safety Occurrences.
  • Apply Human Factors principles (e.g., SHELL, HFACS) in Risk Assessment and safety occurrences analysis.
  • Support the drafting and development of Risk Assessments using Bow-Tie methodology.
  • Assist in the analysis of Safety Data, including Flight Data statistics and incident trends, and contribute to the development of Safety Performance Indicators.
  • Support activities related to the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) program, including data download, preliminary analysis and preparation of proposed corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development and update of Safety Management documentation, including Safety Advisories, Safety Bulletins and revisions of the Safety Management Manual.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to be presented during internal and external safety-related meetings.
  • Draft meeting minutes for the Safety Review Board, Safety Action Group and Management Meetings.
  • Perform general administrative and record-keeping tasks related to the Safety Management System.

Required Skills & Education

  • 0 - 1 year Previous Experience
  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, or related disciplines
  • Good command of English (B2 level or above)
  • Strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level
  • Basic understanding of aviation operations and strong interest in Safety Management.
  • Familiarity with Human Factors and Risk Management principles.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to work with datasets (Excel – Power BI or similar tools).
  • Advanced data analysis capabilities (desired).
  • Completion of Safety Management System courses (SMS Introduction, Human Factors, Risk Management) is considered a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a team.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Contract & Work Conditions

  • Working Hours: Flexible working hours, 38-hours work week, typically between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Complimentary on-site parking
