Fast‑growing battery storage platform in Italy (pipeline ~1GW) is hiring a BESS Revenue Head to lead commercial strategy and revenue optimisation across its utility‑scale storage portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the commercial and route‑to‑market strategy for BESS assets
  • Optimise revenues across MACSE, Capacity Market, ancillary services, merchant and balancing markets
  • Support financing processes and work closely with lenders, investors and strategic partners
  • Present revenue models and market insights for investment and due‑diligence processes
  • Track Italian/EU power market trends and build relationships with traders, utilities, TSOs and aggregators.

Requirements:

  • 8–15+ years in energy markets, renewables, infrastructure or trading
  • Strong knowledge of Italian power markets and BESS economics
  • Experience with utility‑scale storage projects and project finance
  • Strong commercial modelling and contract negotiation skills
  • Existing network in the Italian energy ecosystem is a plus
