Warehouse Manager
As a Warehouse Manager, you will lead all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, operational excellence, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop warehouse strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Design warehouse operational standards, annual operating plans, and management systems.
- Plan warehouse layouts and equipment configurations.
- Drive warehouse standardization, digital transformation, and smart warehouse initiatives to continuously improve operational efficiency.
End-to-End Warehouse Operations
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, cycle counting, picking, packing, and order fulfillment.
- Monitor key operational KPIs, including inventory accuracy, stock turnover, productivity, and service performance.
- Optimize workflows, warehouse processes, and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency while reducing errors and inventory losses.
- Analyze warehouse cost structures, including labor, equipment, and facility utilization.
- Develop and implement cost optimization initiatives without compromising operational quality.
- Promote process improvements, Lean methodologies, and warehouse automation solutions.
- Monitor labor productivity and warehouse space utilization to continuously improve operational performance.
- Recruit, coach, develop, and manage warehouse teams.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
- Build effective organizational structures to support business growth.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage operational risks, business continuity, emergency situations, and incident response to maintain a safe working environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Excellence
- Partner closely with Transportation, Commercial, Customer Service, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to optimize end-to-end operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Gather customer feedback and translate insights into continuous warehouse service improvements.
- Support business growth by enhancing operational competitiveness and service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in bulky items
- Proven experience managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Mandarin is considered a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and warehouse compliance standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and continuously evolving environment.
- Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment or high-volume logistics operations would be highly desirable.
