In this Civil and Structural Engineer role within ENCAR at Saipem, you design steel and concrete structures and foundations for energy and industrial projects. You collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure sound, cost‑efficient, and safe designs. You will support on‑site and at fabrication yards, contributing to the energy transition and project execution in challenging environments. This position offers international exposure, a hybrid work model, and a path within a leading energy engineering group. Responsibilities

Design steel, reinforced concrete, and foundation structures; develop studies and calculation notes for RC, piling, steel, and module structures; prepare design specs for steel and RC structures Review contract project technical documentation and supplier designs Support Discipline Lead in technical interfaces with Client and other interfaces Plan and execute engineering activities: detail design, verification, and studies to optimize cost, fabrication, and safety Provide remote and/or on‑site support to engineering activities at site or fabrication yard Qualifications

Master's Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 5 years' experience as Civil and Structural Engineer in oil & gas, petrochemical, renewable, or floaters sectors Proven design experience of steel and concrete structures and foundations for energy/industrial plants Knowledge of international structural design codes (US, British Standards, Eurocodes) Experience in modular steel structures and in‑place/pre‑service analysis; knowledge of module design codes (API, ISO, DNV) Experience coordinating subcontractors and interfacing with Client, Vendors, Fabrication Yards, and other technical departments Advanced MS Office skills Proficient in SAP2000, STAAD PRO, SACS; basic CAD/3D tools (CAD, TEKLA STRUCTURES); IdeaStatica preferred English (C1), Italian (C1) Benefits
