Role Summary WPP Media is looking for a Client Director who will manage the relationship with the client, develop innovative communication plans, promote the use of agency tools and technologies, ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, and deliver effective solutions to the client. The role includes daily interaction with the client as well as the agency’s strategic, digital, technology, and commercial functions. Key Responsibilities Lead the definition of innovative communication strategies, promote the adoption of cutting‑edge agency tools, technologies, and pioneer new approaches in media planning and execution. Manage strategically the budget of assigned brands, identify unmet client needs, and define success through key performance indicators related to client satisfaction, value delivery, and business growth. Coordinate daily interactions with internal agency functions (strategy, digital, technology, commercial) and ensure seamless collaboration, leveraging the WPP network’s capabilities for maximum client impact. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic media leadership or client management within the media industry. Degree or equivalent cultural background. Fluent English (C1) mandatory. Demonstrated expertise in strategic media planning and a deep understanding of the evolving digital, tech, and martech landscape. Exceptional client advocacy and negotiation skills, with a history of shaping client engagements and optimizing business success. Previous experience in a strategic role or strong strategic component within past position considered a plus.
