Purpose of the position:
As Construction Manager Plant, you will respond to the Head of Construction Department and be part of the Sustainable Infrastructure Business, ensuring time, costs, quality, safety targets are met, through direct coordination and management of a project construction team, interfacing with project organization, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the site quality control plan, ensuring standards are maintained throughout construction.
Manage the construction budget, conducting regular analysis of monthly payments against achieved progress and assigned budgets, to secure accurate cash flow for all parties involved.
Monitor and report on construction progress and execution, providing timely updates and critical information to the Project Director and Project Manager.
Review and coordinate contractual documents related to construction, collaborating with other project functions to ensure alignment and compliance.
Supervise on-site activities, ensuring that construction operations are carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and timelines.
Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to promote efficiency and resolve any issues promptly.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in construction execution and site management.
Promote a culture of safety and quality among site personnel, organising training and supporting adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
What are we looking for?
Education:
Master\'s Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Civil Engineering or similar
Experience: +10 years of experience in similar role,
with a strong focus on the execution of large-scale infrastructure projects within complex organizations, including bridges and viaducts with reinforced and prestressed concrete (RC/PC) and steel structures
Languages: English B2
What else should you know?
You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
