We are seeking a Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Coverage team in Milan. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of multinational subsidiary clients in Italy, acting as a trusted advisor to finance and treasury teams while driving client engagement, revenue growth, and cross‑product penetration. As a Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of multinational corporate subsidiaries operating in Italy. You will develop strong and lasting client relationships, understand clients' strategic and treasury objectives, and position Deutsche Bank as their preferred transaction banking partner. Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of multinational subsidiary clients operating in Italy through proactive relationship management and business development. Develop trusted advisor relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasurers, and treasury teams on the ground. Drive revenue growth by identifying and originating opportunities across Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending, FX, Securities Services, and other Corporate Bank solutions. Partner with Global Relationship Managers and product specialists to deliver integrated client solutions across geographies and business lines. Lead client discussions, business reviews, and strategic engagements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and wallet share growth. Execute client plans and support the delivery of franchise objectives through effective collaboration with internal stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of coverage strategies and commercial initiatives. Maintain strong governance standards and ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, AFC, and risk management requirements. Contribute to process improvements and support a culture of teamwork, excellence, and client focus. Skills Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Experience within banking or financial services, ideally in corporate coverage, transaction banking, cash management, trade finance, treasury solutions, or related client‑facing roles. Strong client relationship management and business development skills. Knowledge of multinational corporate clients and transaction banking solutions. Solid understanding of KYC, AML, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to identify and execute business opportunities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an advantage.
