Costing Analyst (M/W)

As a Costing Analyst at Rossignol in Milan, you will contribute to accurate cost management across categories and support vendor negotiations. You collaborate with Product Development to translate design and material changes into cost implications and drive cost optimization through benchmarking. You will maintain supplier data, monitor performance, and help ensure margin-driven decisions. This role offers exposure to international supply chains within an iconic mountain sports brand, with opportunities to shape cost strategies and supplier relations.

Retribuzione / Benefits

• Support cost analysis and vendor negotiations with the Costing & Sourcing manager
• Collect, review and maintain cost sheets across categories
• Assist on negotiations with vendors on MOQ, lead times and payment terms
• Collaborate with Product Development to assess cost impacts of design/material changes
• Understand materials, garment construction and manufacturing processes to improve cost accuracy
• Maintain and update the supplier database, onboarding new vendors
• Track vendor performance seasonally and identify improvement opportunities
• Conduct cost benchmarking and analysis to improve efficiencies and margins
• Identify cost savings opportunities without compromising quality or design intent
• Understand duty impacts and freight costs within total garment costs

Responsabilità

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 1-2 years in purchasing, sourcing, or product development
• Experience with apparel/sportswear is a plus
• Experience with European and Asian suppliers is advantageous
• Ability to read and work with technical specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English;
  Italian a plus
