To support the growth of our client base and the evolution of our data platform, we are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer with 2–4 years of experience who can become a key reference point for data analysis and contribute to the development of our data infrastructure. The role will work closely with the Tech, Product, and Business teams and will be responsible for: Verifying, certifying, and continuously monitoring the quality and reliability of data collected by our proprietary systems Extracting, transforming, and validating data from relational databases (MS SQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (Cassandra) Supporting the design and maintenance of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python and Databricks Performing exploratory analysis on complex datasets (mobility, flows, spatio-temporal data) Identifying patterns, anomalies, missing data, and relevant trends Producing structured reports (mobility reports, custom client analyses, internal analyses) Extracting high-value insights from collected data Preparing and presenting analyses and results to clients, with strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations The goal is to evolve the role toward increasing autonomy in managing the full data lifecycle: collection, validation, modeling, analysis, and reporting. MUST HAVE Strong knowledge of key languages and frameworks for data analysis / data engineering (Python, Pandas, etc.) Familiarity with object-oriented programming Strong knowledge of SQL-based relational databases Ability to write complex queries and work with structured datasets Good command of English (written and spoken) NICE TO HAVE 2–4 years of experience in data analytics and/or data engineering Experience designing or maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Knowledge of data visualization tools (Plotly, Seaborn) Experience with highly spatio-temporal datasets (time series, geolocated data, mobility data) Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., Cassandra) Familiarity with cloud environments What We Offer Technical and professional growth opportunities in an innovative, high-tech environment The opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in strategic projects A dynamic, interdisciplinary, and results-driven workplace Location: Milan (MM Precotto) / hybrid work model (work from home available) Resumes must include written authorization for the processing of personal data in accordance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).
