Your role:

As a Digital Portfolio Sales Promoter, you’ll be part of the DI Sales Acceleration Architecture area, accelerating the digital transformation of manufacturing industries by developing business opportunities in collaboration with the Italian Sales force.

Mission: Identify, create, and capture digital opportunities across Industrial AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, and Digital Twin, engaging key customers and positioning Siemens as a trusted partner.

Affecting Impact

  • Promote industrial products and solutions within customers’ automation architecture design and development.
  • Present product features during pre‑sales.
  • Support OEMs, system integrators, and distributors.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and business development teams on technical promotion of automation solutions.
  • Deliver trainings, presentations, and technical workshops.
  • Influence key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
  • Provide insights into customers’ innovation processes.
  • Build deep knowledge of the industrial market and competitors.

Core Requirements

  • Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or consultancy within industrial sectors.
  • Strong background in value‑based selling, preferably using the Challenger Sales methodology.
  • Experience with SaaS and subscription‑based models, focusing on sales and renewals.
  • Track record engaging with C‑level executives and leading complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Understanding of manufacturing digitalisation technologies such as Industrial AI, IoT, Cybersecurity, Digital Twin, and Software‑Defined Automation.
  • Passion for continuous growth.
  • Experience with consultancy partner firms at C‑suite level.
  • Respect and appreciation for diverse perspectives.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
  • Excellent influencing, customer orientation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Digital Thread concepts and ability to translate them into customer opportunities.
  • Experience driving large‑scale digital transformation programmes for industrial customers.
