Director Business Development AI Life Science, Southern Europe Primary Responsibilities Accountable for identifying and acquiring projects that add value to customers in life sciences in the areas of Discovery, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Drug Safety, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial and Business Development. Focus on Southern Europe. 70% - Acquire new clients in life science Co-create and execute business strategies for the primary industry sector Health Care, with an emphasis on midsize Pharma, Biotech and Medtech companies in a first wave Acquire new customers, develop business that leverages existing capabilities and tailored precision AI solutions that we have co-created with clients and AI licensing mandates 30% - Ensure client engagement and growth Co-lead existing projects (strategy & execution) to deliver customer delight (select healthcare companies) Develop new business with existing clients Ensure efficient project coordination & execution with internal & external resources Measure impact Build synergies/efficiencies within our organization Education and Experience Deep expertise in going-to-market in several therapy areas and markets 7 or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry including line management and matrix leadership roles Degree in science or business Fluent in Italian and Spanish and at least conversational in English Key Skills & Abilities Self-driven and motivated leader who delivers results efficiently Effective communicator with strong selling and negotiating skills Established and respected functional leader with a track record of advancing an organization in a collaborative way Thorough understanding of customer facing aspects of the business including market dynamics, brand management, sales planning and execution, market access, patient advocacy, regulatory environments, and reimbursement challenges across several international markets Deep knowledge of several therapy areas or the proven ability to acquire this rapidly Experience leading through change and managing ambiguity, working in areas without strong boundaries. Demonstrated ability to adapt to internal systems and processes to optimally support customers Exclusion criteria must be based in Italy, Spain or Portugal now (relocation is not an option) must have ability to cover clinical development, medical, regulatory, BD&L proven evidence of entrepreneurial thinking and action #J-18808-Ljbffr
