Experteer Overview
In this role you design MV/LV electrical distribution for nuclear projects, ensuring fit‑for‑purpose solutions from concept to detailed design. You will coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and oversee interfaces with suppliers, manufacturers, and on‑site installation. You contribute to safety‑focused engineering and compliance with CEI/EN/IEC standards. This position suits a proactive engineer who shapes electrical systems for nuclear applications.
Benefits
Execute electrical design activities following best engineering practices
Prepare technical specs, load lists, SLDs and sizing calculations; issue purchase specifications and evaluate supplier offers
Oversight of manufacturing, FAT, on‑site installation and testing of switchboards/components
Support on‑site electrical works and installation activities
Coordinate mono‑disciplinary teams and manage internal/external interfaces
Identify and manage interfaces with project stakeholders
Qualifications
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering
≥5 years' experience in electrical systems design, preferably in a highly regulated industrial sector
Design experience of MV/LV distribution systems (MV MCS, LV PCs/MCCs, subdistribution boards) and integration with existing plant
Knowledge of CEI/EN/IEC electrical norms; familiarity with functional safety and power system sizing tools
Experience with nuclear‑specific codes/standards for safety, environmental and seismic qualification (e.g., IEEE, RCC‑E, KTA, IEC)
Experience in site works and multi‑cultural collaboration
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel as needed
