We are seeking an experienced

EHS Lead

to oversee all Environmental, Health & Safety activities on a major data centre construction project in Milan. Reporting to senior project leadership, you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations, and leading a team of EHS Advisors to deliver best-in-class safety performance across the project. Key Responsibilities

Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities on a large-scale data centre construction project. Ensure full compliance with Italian health, safety and environmental legislation and industry standards. Develop, implement and continuously improve site EHS policies, procedures and initiatives. Manage, mentor and develop a team of EHS Advisors on site. Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Drive a culture of safety excellence and accountability across all project teams and subcontractors. Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, project management teams and regulatory authorities. Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes. Monitor project performance through KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management. Requirements

Proven experience in a senior EHS leadership role within construction, mission-critical or data centre projects. Strong understanding of Italian health, safety and environmental regulations. Experience managing and developing EHS teams. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive behavioural safety initiatives. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-value construction environment. Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, Diploma or Degree equivalent). What's on Offer
