SEO Associate – SEO Team, JAKALA
JAKALA, a data‑driven, benefit corporation focused on ethics, climate, and quality, seeks a versatile and enthusiastic SEO Associate to join our fast‑growing unit. The role involves working with leading Italian and international clients and supporting SEO strategy execution, ensuring compliance, and contributing to website migration and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Support pre‑launch and launch of new websites from an SEO‑compliance point of view, collaborating with developers and creating efficient migration and redirect plans
- Optimize content, semantic tags, and metadata to better match user queries and improve website rankings
- Monitor site health, identify technical issues, and implement fixes
- Conduct SEO audits and produce detailed analytical reports, including traffic analysis, organic performance, and optimization proposals
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable SEO solutions
- Assist in content and link‑building initiatives to improve organic visibility
- Contribute to the coordination of projects, building strong relationships with clients and planning workflows to deliver SEO activities efficiently
- Stay up to date with SEO trends, ranking factors, and search engine updates
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of proven SEO experience, ideally on medium to high‑complexity projects
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Some experience with Technical SEO for e‑commerce and/or multi‑country websites is a plus
- Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
- Experience supporting content optimization and link‑building strategies
- General understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms, with interest in staying updated on SEO trends
- Experience contributing to project coordination and interacting with clients or internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
Benefits and Conditions
- 10 days per month office presence allowed; remote work possible from Italy or elsewhere within the European Union.
- Salary: €25,000–€40,000 gross annually, determined within this range based on experience and skills, in accordance with CCNL Commercio – Terziario.
