Deliver clinical education and operational expertise by providing education and training support within a specific modality or product portfolio to clinical end-users. How you'll make an impact Act as a lead on all aspects within the therapy including imaging, integration and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, software, tools and products required for clinical use (TOE, 3 D TOE, MPR, ICE), including but not limited to intraoperative case coverage and coordinating one‑on‑one ad‑hoc training sessions and in‑service structured education programs in the Cath Lab. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to investigational products and procedures, including imaging, through conducting and/or coordinating one‑on‑one ad‑hoc training sessions and in‑service structured education programs on two or more technologies or one highly specialized technology. Provide hands‑on, on‑site cardiac imaging support and guidance during TTVR and TEER procedures: Guide real‑time imaging acquisition (TOE, 3 D TOE, MPR, ICE) to ensure optimal visualization throughout the procedure. Support imaging interpretation during key procedural steps (e.g., positioning, deployment, and result assessment). Troubleshoot intra‑procedural imaging challenges in close collaboration with physicians to ensure procedural continuity and optimal outcomes. Reinforce best practices in intra‑procedural imaging through direct, real‑time support in the Cath Lab. Collaborate and provide recommendations to HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocols. Analyze imaging and/or oversee third‑party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases. Other incidental duties. What you'll need (Required) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technical field (e.g., perfusionist, clinical physiology, echocardiography). 5 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience. Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to travel up to 80% depending on territory needs within Europe. Fluent in both Italian & English. What else we look for (Preferred) 1 internal or industry similar certification (imaging). Experience as clinical specialist imaging/echocardiographer with TEE experience. Good imaging analysis software skills (e.g., 3 Mensio, Tom Tec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.). Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to effectively guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operation. Strong diplomacy, influencing and relationship management skills. Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Substantial knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g., 2 D or 3 D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.). Substantial knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging. Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices. Ability to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter‑departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs. Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control. Benefits & Compensation For Italy, the base pay range for this position is 48 000 € to 68 000 € (highly experienced), in line with the applicable National Collective Agreement (CCNL Industria Chimico Farmaceutico). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on objective criteria such as qualifications, education, and prior experience.
