Field & Technical Training Lead

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Italy Field Engineering Team as Field & Technical Training Lead. The role will co‑coordinate and support field and technical training across the South East Europe and Türkiye (SEET) Operating Unit in collaboration with the Operating Area (OA) Field Leads, aligning OU and OAs with EMEA/Global Field and Technical Training Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of technical training materials to support Italian OAs and share materials across SEET.
  • Work with EMEA/Global/OU Teams to develop and deploy processes such as skill mapping and training needs to improve Field KPIs and productivity.
  • Support the onboarding training of new mechanics and apprentices.
  • Communicate the training catalogue for Technical Training across Italian OAs.
  • Collect training needs from OAs and schedule technical courses in collaboration with Trainers.
  • Ensure training records and hours are recorded in accordance with local procedures.
  • Maintain and update the technical training facilities in Cassina and Bologna in coordination with Field Engineering Italy.
  • Identify and leverage digital and new forms of training and education to support needs across operations.
  • Coordinate translations for Global/EMEA technical trainings.
  • Develop and maintain a technical educational library to support continued development of mechanics.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Field and Technical Training across the OU in line with Global/EMEA Training Strategy.
  • Support OAs with identifying and coordinating trainers to support technical training priorities: Master Trainers, Field Experts, Train the Trainers.
  • Lead the deployment and assessment of skills and competencies across the OU to establish training needs and deployment plans.
  • Network with OU Field Training Leads to identify existing training materials that can be leveraged within SEET.
  • Coordinate with OA Field Leads to establish training needs and deployment plans.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a good level of language in Italian and English and be based in Italy (ideally in the Cassina or Bologna area) to directly manage and coordinate the field and technical training program in Italy, while supporting the Field Leads across the OU. Technical background in elevators and strong verbal and written communication skills are required to deliver effective education and training to field colleagues through methods such as in‑person training, Teams, and digital training media.
