Always a meeting place for business people, creative professionals, travelers and Milanese, the Park Hyatt Milano’s common areas include the exclusive gourmet restaurant Pellico 3 Milano with an innovative menu curated by Chef Guido Paternollo; the Mio Lab Cocktail Bar, a favorite spot for the ritual of the Milanese aperitif; and La Cupola, the focal point of life at the hotel, from breakfast to dinner.ResponsibilitiesThe Housekeeping Supervisor assists and reports to the Housekeeping & Spa Manager in managing all aspects of the department, and manages the department in the absence of the Manager.Govern the operations of the Cleaning and Laundry department and be responsible for the Housekeeping Department.Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff as duties are performed.Inspect all public areas, guestrooms, exterior of the building and back‑house areas daily to ensure the highest standards and that all common areas are kept clean and free from anize all staff during the day and host daily meetings with housekeeping staff.Plan departmental scheduling, including days off, holidays and vacations, ensuring that the facility’s needs are met in accordance with hours and position control.Plan daily, weekly and monthly assignments and projects for all Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Housemen and Laundry Attendants.Motivate, train and supervise all Housekeeping and Laundry colleagues.Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and n sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms.Inspect, check and release hotel rooms for arrivals in accordance with Park Hyatt standards and ensure rooms are kept clean and free from hazards.Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments and issues to the next shift.Receive, process and handle guest complaints regarding housekeeping services.Perform administrative duties.Demonstrate a passion for hospitality and luxury industry and a people‑oriented approach.QualificationsFluent in English.Fluent in Italian.Fluency in another language is a must.Benefits12 free nights per year of service across Hyatt Hotels worldwide.Employee and Friends & Family rates across Hyatt Hotels worldwide.Dry cleaning of business clothes.Plan Welfare.Settling the costs of urban public transport – ATM Milano.
