Experteer Overview
In this role you lead medical strategy for the Immunology portfolio in Italy, aligning Medical Affairs with overall launch and value delivery. You provide scientific guidance to cross‑functional teams and oversee medical plans, publications, and RWE initiatives. You drive external engagement with key scientific leaders, regulators, and payers to advance patient care. The position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery, shaping immunology programs across assets.

Oversee development and execution of medical strategy for the Immunology portfolio within PVBP and launch programs
Lead Medical Affairs Plans (MAP) development and delivery across therapeutic areas
Provide senior scientific leadership and external representation for the Immunology portfolio
Ensure tactical deliverables: RWE studies, medical education, publication plans, quality of care initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with national/regional key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies, payers, and patient groups
Coach and develop Medical Leads, MSLs, and other medical team members
Ensure regulatory compliance and ethical standards across medical activities
Provide MA value metrics, quality controls, and KPI‑driven performance analysis
Guide data dissemination and publication management with EU/Global teams
Support R&D alignment to address patient unmet needs and pipeline assets
Collaborate with EU/Global Medical teams on standards, frameworks, and medical strategy
Oversee medical training, information provision, and medical communications policies
Lead budgeting, performance measurement, and governance activities for Medical Affairs
Responsabilità
Degree in Medicine (MD) or equivalent
Fluent English (oral and written)
Substantial Medical Affairs experience in immunology or related therapeutic areas
Proven track record in strategic and cross‑functional planning within EU
Strong relationships with external scientific/clinical experts and regulatory bodies
Experience with governance and pragmatic implementation of activities
Empowering leadership with ability to articulate a clear medical vision
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions and regions
Strong understanding of clinical development, study management, and real‑world evidence
Project leadership in a matrix organization and ability to drive delivery
Ability to develop and manage KPIs, budgets, and metrics
Negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
Budget planning and management experience
