Investor Relations Manager / Senior Associate / VP – Renewable Energy Investment Fund- Italy

Overview

We are partnering with a leading renewable energy investment platform with a strong presence across Southern Europe, particularly in Italy. The firm focuses on deploying capital into energy transition assets, including solar PV, onshore wind, battery storage, and emerging infrastructure aligned with Italy’s decarbonisation goals.

With a rapidly expanding Italian portfolio and continued support from institutional investors, the business is entering a new phase of fundraising, capital deployment, and investor engagement.

This role sits at the intersection of investment, strategy, and capital markets, acting as a key bridge between the platform and its global investor base, while supporting capital raising initiatives with a strong emphasis on the Italian market.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Engagement & Relationship Management

• Act as a primary point of contact for institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and asset managers
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with LPs, with a particular focus on investors active in Southern European infrastructure
• Lead investor meetings, portfolio updates, and ongoing dialogue around Italian asset performance and pipeline development
• Represent the platform in investor events and industry conferences across Europe

Fundraising & Capital Raising

• Support end-to-end fundraising processes, with a focus on capital raising for Italian and Southern European strategies
• Coordinate roadshows across key financial hubs
• Assist in structuring and positioning new funds, co-investments, and separate accounts with exposure to Italy
• Manage responses to investor queries, DDQs, and RFPs with high attention to detail and market-specific insights

Investor Communications & Reporting

• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, investor presentations, and AGM materials
• Translate complex investment strategies and Italian portfolio performance into clear, compelling messaging
• Highlight key value drivers such as regulatory frameworks, power price dynamics, and project development milestones
• Ensure consistent and high-quality communication aligned with investor expectations and reporting standards

Market Intelligence & Positioning

• Monitor trends in the Italian renewable energy market, including regulatory developments, permitting processes, and grid infrastructure constraints
• Track investor appetite for Italian infrastructure and energy transition assets
• Support the development of the firm’s equity story, with a clear narrative around Italy’s role in the broader strategy
• Benchmark against peer funds and competing platforms active in Italy and Southern Europe

Internal Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with investment, finance, ESG, and asset management teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
• Work with local Italian teams to gather insights on portfolio performance and pipeline developments
• Support senior leadership in strategic communications and investor-facing initiatives
• Contribute to the alignment of global messaging with local market dynamics

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in investor relations, fundraising, or infrastructure/energy investing
• Good understanding of the Italian energy market and regulatory landscape
• Fluent in English; Italian language skills highly preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
