Job Purpose/RoleBased in Milan and reporting to the Casualty Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Personal Accident risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also a contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Personal Accident Team.Key ResponsibilitiesSteer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Personal Accident to drive the achievement of financial targets.Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.Work closely with Sales departments, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.Proactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified productsSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)Communicate local business strategy externallyKey Requirements/Skills/ExperienceMaster's degree in Economics1/2 years of proven experience in underwriting profitable Personal Accident business for Corporate ClientsExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycleSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skillsIdeally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordingsIdeally experience in driving underwriting projectsEntrepreneurial mindsetStrong communication skillsAble to work in an international organizationFluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)Data AnalyticsVery good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative toolsPursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the gross annual remuneration applicable to the position offered is 34.435,23 gross.Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.105656 | Underwriting | Entry Level | Non-Executive | Allianz Italy | Full-Time | PermanentAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
