Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager defines and executes the Retail portfolio strategy in alignment with the Business Unit management and the regional/global marketing department, while gathering insights from the local team. They implement strategic plans and development projects with the goal of maximizing market share and revenue growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
Be responsible for strategy and execution, monitoring and analysis of marketing tactical plans to ensure successful landing of the agreed Integrated Business Plan and business growth.
Lead the development of marketing activities in line with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines, in cooperation with Channel Strategy, Regulatory, Corp Affairs, ComEx and align with Sales.
Conduct market research programs and insight analysis for the Retail portfolio and the broader penetration of chemically synthesized equivalents in the Italian market, while monitoring and anticipating market trends and opportunities.
Monitor and control the Retail marketing budget and take corrective actions as needed to meet results while optimizing resources.
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures and other regulations.
Monitor product performance and the external environment using appropriate tools and taking corrective action if required to meet business objectives.
Identify market insights and opportunities by establishing and maintaining an open, continuous channel with the field team, in order to capture and update every opportunity within current and future Marketing plans.
Lead ongoing development and expansion of pharmacy services to reinforce the strength and differentiation of Sandoz’s customer value proposition.

What you’ll bring to the role
Scientific and Economic Master’s degree (preferred).
MBA as a plus.
5+ years of previous experience in similar roles.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Good data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of Retail market environment, market dynamics, regulatory context and key marketing tactics implementation.
Project and Business Management skills.
Ability to lead complex projects and initiatives involving different functions within and outside the Retail BU, such as Sales and Channel Strategy, ComEx, Regulatory, Supply, ERC/Legal and Corp Affairs.
Experience with IQVIA Flexview and market data analysis.
Previous experience in consulting, mass market, large-scale retail, and FMCG (preferred).
