Albert Nobilis is a Swiss menswear brand with its creative office based in Milan. We are seeking a concept-driven Menswear Designer to join our studio and collaborate on the development of our next ready‑to‑wear collection. This position starts as a collaborator role, ideal for an emerging designer, and may evolve into a permanent position based on creative fit and contribution.

Description of the role

We are looking for a designer who brings both vision and structure, someone who can develop compelling seasonal concepts and translate them into distinctive menswear collections with narrative depth and refined aesthetic sensibility. We are looking for someone who can marry creative vision and project work, capable of developing coherent seasonal concepts and turning them into men's collections with deep narrative and refined aesthetic.

Your Role

You will play a key role in proposing the creative direction of the collection, contributing to seasonal storytelling, silhouette development, and early-stage design proposals. Your focus will be concept creation from mood boards and research to fabric ideas and initial sketches, following a framework of design needs, in close collaboration with the Creative Director and the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and build seasonal collection narratives aligned with brand identity · Ideare e costruire narrazioni stagionali in linea con l’identità del brand
• Create mood-boards, fabric and color stories, silhouette directions, and early design proposals · Creare moodboard con storie, colori e tessuti, direzioni silhouette e prime proposte di design

• Collaborate closely with the production merchandizer to develop cohesive product and collection ideas · Collaborare con il merchandiser di produzione per sviluppare proposte coese a livello di prodotto e collezione
• Contribute to creative research across art, culture, fashion, and menswear heritage · Contribuire alla ricerca creativa su arte, cultura, moda e heritage dell’abbigliamento maschile

Profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or related field · Laurea in Fashion Design o in un campo affine
• Proficiency in English (Italian is a plus) · Conoscenza avanzata della lingua inglese (l'italiano è un plus)
• Min 3–5 years of experience in menswear design or creative concept development · Esperienza di 3–5 anni nel design uomo o nello sviluppo di concept creativi
• Strong visual storytelling and sketching ability (digital or and hand‑drawn) · Spiccata capacità narrativa visiva e nel disegno (a mano o digitale)
• Excellent grasp of silhouette, materiality, and color theory · Ottima conoscenza della silhouette, dei materiali e della teoria del colore
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite;
  CLO3D or CAD familiarity is a plus · Familiarità con Adobe Creative Suite;
