Naval Architect Lead

Responsibilities

  • Check of naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports)
  • Interface with classification society rules (ABS, BV and/or DNV) and with other naval disciplines, the construction team, clients and fabrication companies/yard
  • Develop feedback dossiers from projects, and expand knowledge of naval engineering competencies in vessel hydrostatic and hydrodynamic
  • Manage the timeline of the hull portion and quantification management activity
  • Naval engineering with a focus on vessel hydrostatic

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's Degree or bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years as a Naval Architect Lead within structured companies
  • Languages: English (C1), Italian (C1)
  • Technical/IT Skills: Numerical techniques and software used in naval engineering such as FEM techniques and panel model-based numerical methods
  • Travel: Willingness to travel abroad based on project assignments
