Experteer Overview

In this role you will oversee the installation, start‑up and operation of modern, highly automated utility and industrial service systems for a new manufacturing site. You will work within a global context, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost‑effective utility generation and distribution (steam, water, HVAC, electrical, ammonia‑related systems) to support manufacturing. You will contribute from design through commissioning, collaborating with contractors and internal teams to meet Nestlé Engineering Standards and regulatory requirements. This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven position at the start‑up phase of a new site.

• Oversee utility distribution systems (steam, condensate, compressed air, chilled water, process water, HVAC interfaces, gas)
• Review utility designs, P&IDs, layouts and specs;
  participate in design and constructability reviews
• Coordinate utility installation activities with contractors and suppliers;
  support construction planning and sequencing
• Prepare and execute commissioning plans;
  perform system start‑up, testing and handover
• Promote safe design and construction practices;
  support permit‑to‑work and safety programs
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé Engineering Standards, local regulations and food safety/hygienic design requirements

Responsabilità

• Engineering University Degree (mechanical or electrical) with substantial practical experience
• 5+ years in Industrial Services engineering, preferably in food manufacturing
• Experience with large‑scale utility systems and ammonia/refrigeration environments
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Experience with P&IDs, design reviews, and commissioning of utility systems
• Knowledge of AHU, chillers, water treatment, BMS, and electrical equipment
• Experience supervising others operating heating systems or large combustion systems
• Strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration skills
