We are currently looking for a OFCI Equipment Procurement Manager Data Centers in Italy.This role sits at the intersection of engineering, procurement, and large-scale infrastructure delivery within hyperscale data center environments. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment that powers mission-critical facilities, ensuring performance, reliability, and alignment with complex construction timelines. Acting as a key interface between engineering, vendors, and construction teams, you will help shape the technical definition, selection, and delivery of critical power and cooling systems. The role requires strong technical understanding combined with commercial negotiation expertise to secure high-value equipment under strict performance standards. You will oversee long-lead manufacturing, testing, logistics, and installation readiness in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. This is a high-impact position where precision, coordination, and risk management directly influence data center uptime and scalability.AccountabilitiesDefine and manage OFCI equipment scope in collaboration with engineering, design, and construction teams for data center projectsReview and validate technical specifications, layouts, and compliance with Tier, redundancy, and uptime requirementsLead RFQ/RFP processes, including vendor evaluation, technical comparisons, and commercial assessmentsNegotiate contracts covering performance guarantees, delivery schedules, warranties, and testing requirementsOversee procurement of critical electrical and mechanical systems such as UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling systems, and control systemsCoordinate factory inspections, FATs, quality assurance activities, and resolution of technical non-conformitiesManage logistics planning, international shipping, customs coordination, and site delivery readinessTrack procurement progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with critical project timelines and dependenciesSupport commissioning activities, documentation handover, and final equipment acceptance into operationsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, supply chain, business, or a related technical field5+ years of experience in procurement, engineering, or project delivery within data centers or mission-critical infrastructureStrong knowledge of critical power, cooling, and building management systemsProven experience managing long-lead equipment procurement and vendor relationshipsFamiliarity with FAT processes, commissioning activities, and construction coordinationStrong understanding of technical documentation, specifications, and compliance requirementsExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in complex, multi-stakeholder, international project environmentsStrong analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigationExperience with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary with comprehensive benefits packageFlexible remote working arrangementsOpportunities for career development in cutting-edge data center infrastructure projectsExposure to large-scale hyperscale and mission-critical environmentsCollaborative, international working culture focused on innovation and engineering excellenceWork on advanced technologies supporting AI-driven cloud infrastructureStrong focus on professional growth and technical expertise development
