Patent Attorney – Mechanical or similar

Our client, a prestigious and renowned private practice in Italy, is seeking a mid-senior level Patent Attorney with a degree in mechanics or similar technical field.
Situated in the heart of Italy, this firm is at the forefront of delivering comprehensive IP‑related legal services, tailored to meet the diverse needs of their clients who are keen on optimising the value of the intellectual property they possess.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of mechanics and the like.
Conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses.
Managing patent portfolios and providing strategic advice to the business on IP matters.
Advising on IP‑related transactions, including licensing and technology transfer agreements.
Monitoring third‑party patents and potential infringement risks.
Supporting litigation proceedings related to IP matters.
The successful candidate will:
Have a degree in the mechanical technical field
Strong knowledge of Italian and European patent law and practice.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
