La posizione è aperta all’interno del team di Leonardo.**Job Description:**Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners of the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme), alongside the British BAE Systems and the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, aimed at the development and realization of a new generation aerial system, defined as a “system of systems”. Employed for multi-domain operations in the defense sector, the system will be characterized by a “core platform” connected with other peripheral “adjuncts” systems, both piloted and unpiloted.The program, one of the most challenging and futuristic for the aerospace and defense industry, will drive the technological revolution that will characterize the sector in the next fifty years. A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative, enabling technologies that will ensure a generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.Resources working within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the Airborne Business Organizational Unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for a **Program Manager** for our Nerviano office.The person we identify will be involved in the GCAP program activities pertaining to the Airborne business and in particular within the FCAS LoB.The person will be responsible for the following activities:* Planning of program activities (scope, schedule, and budget)* Monitoring and control of program activities* Preparation and presentation of completed activities* Leading the project team and coordinating with all involved functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Commercial)* Managing the relationship with the Customer/external stakeholders for program aspects, both technical and economic* Ensuring that project results meet predefined quality and cost standards**Education:**Master's degree in management, Economics, Engineering**Required experience level:**Expert**Technical skills and knowledge:*** Knowledge of methodologies and tools for program planning and management* Knowledge of Project Management principles* Experience in preparing project documentation**Behavioral skills:*** Ability to work independently within a team, even in international contexts* Ability to respect deadlines and plans* Communication skills* Negotiation skills* Strong propensity for achieving objectives**Language skills:**Good knowledge of written and spoken English, minimum B2 level.**Computer skills:*** Proficiency in using office automation and remote office tools* Good knowledge of MS Office packages* Familiarity with SAP system appreciated**Other (e.G., availability for travel/specific certifications requested…):**Availability for travel, including multi-week trips, both in Italy and abroad, to support project activities.PMI and/or PMI-RMP certification is a plus.**Seniority:****Primary Location:**IT - Milano - Nerviano**Additional Locations:****Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**
