As part of the expansion of our Engineering Team, we are looking for a
Project Engineering Manager (PEM).
The Project Engineering Manager guarantees that the engineering of the projects are in compliance with the program, budget, quality level and constructability committed to the client and in accordance with the guidelines of the Engineering Department.
Tasks
Organize the engineering team for the project and inform the Head of Engineering and the Head of Project Engineering if there are deviations or additional needs
Ensure the quality of the design of the projects
Define the team, in consensus with the Head of Engineering
Apply the work processes and procedures defined in the projects, the systems, the technical standards that apply and the selection / approval criteria
Lead the engineering team assigned to the project
Supervise the activities of the project team and evaluate its performance with respect to the objective (execution time of specific tasks)
Track the progress of the Engineering program
Detect early changes in scope and its impact on costs and / or deadlines
Perform the control of spent and budgeted hours
Review the consolidation of engineering documentation and information of supplier drawings
Detect and classify critical supplies and ensure the issuance of the appropriate documentation for their purchase (if any)
Participate in internal and external management progress meetings (in which the Client participates)
Prepare the necessary information to the Head of Project Engineering and the Client regarding the progress of the activities under his charge
Competencies and knowledge
MSC degree in Industrial Engineering
Ability to technically deal with other disciplines
Fluent in English and Italian
8/10 years of experience in the role in EPC contractor companies or in Engineering services companies
What we offer
Permanent contract – National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Sector
The expected gross annual salary range is between €62.000 and €70.000
