We are seeking an experienced Project Services Manager to support a major offshore oil and gas project. The role is based in Milan, and candidates must have the right to work in Italy. The successful candidate will lead project support functions, including project controls, procurement support, logistics, document control, and administration, ensuring efficient and compliant project delivery. Key Responsibilities

Project Support & Coordination

Manage project services activities, including cost control, planning, logistics, procurement support, and document control. Coordinate support teams during engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning phases. Develop and maintain project services plans and procedures. Cost & Budget Management

Oversee project cost control and forecasting. Monitor budgets and identify cost variances. Prepare regular cost and financial reports. Planning & Scheduling

Manage project schedules across all phases. Integrate contractor schedules into the overall project plan. Monitor progress and highlight risks or delays. Procurement & Contract Support

Work with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Support contract administration and monitor contractor performance. Maintain supplier documentation and records. Logistics & Offshore Coordination

Coordinate personnel, equipment, and material movements to offshore and onshore locations. Oversee transportation, customs, and marine logistics activities. Ensure operational requirements are considered in project planning. Document Control & Reporting

Ensure contractual documentation requirements met. Prepare regular project reports for management and stakeholders. HSE & Compliance

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Promote a strong safety culture across the project team. Project Lifecycle Responsibilities

Oversee project controls, procurement support, and offshore coordination activities. Monitoring:

Track cost, schedule, and performance against project objectives. Compliance:

Ensure adherence to project procedures, contracts, and regulatory requirements. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Minimum 15 years of experience in project services or project controls. At least 5 years of offshore experience, including 3-5 recent years on offshore projects. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
