Overview Property Loss Assessor/Claims Preparer — Risk Consulting is looking for candidates as Property Loss Assessor/Claims Preparer to join our Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) based in Milan . The Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) area is responsible for providing insurance loss-adjusting advisory services on behalf of the client , with the aim of determining the damage suffered and ensuring the correct indemnity payable by insurers. We will count on you to: Based on proven skills, you will be the referral for the internal Property Damage (PD) practice. The role will involve quantifying losses, preparing insurance claims, and negotiating complex Property claims in the best interests of clients. Responsibilities Coordinating salvage, securing, and remediation actions from the earliest stages as the technical point of reference. Supporting the client in identifying and implementing initiatives aimed at avoiding or mitigating damage following a loss event. Assisting the client in fulfilling contractual policy obligations. Analyzing the insurance contract to ensure the correct application of policy terms and conditions. Defining the best strategy to maximize the outcome. Reviewing technical documentation supporting the loss from a preventive and strategic perspective. Preparing, quantifying, and negotiating the insurance claim. Liaising with, coordinating, and negotiating with surveyors appointed by insurance companies for the purpose of settling losses. Acting as a guide for the client and an operational facilitator for the team, translating needs into action plans and KPIs. Defining an operational strategy aimed at maximizing results, with shared milestones. Reviewing loss-related supporting documentation and coordinating data collection between the client and the team. Monitoring success metrics and proposing process improvements in collaboration with the team. Serving as the technical focal point for the team and the PD practice. Promoting collaboration among team colleagues. We propose a gross annual salary starting from € 50,000 for a full-time position. Depending on experience, skills and qualifications, we are willing to consider compensation above the starting salary. Variable remuneration may be granted in accordance with company policy.
