Summary
We are looking for a QA/QC Piping site – Large-scale international industrial project in the field of renewable and low‑carbon hydrogen.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, deploy and maintain the QA/QC system on site for piping activities
Ensure compliance of piping works with contractual, regulatory and normative requirements
Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities related to SMP works (Structure, Mechanical, Piping)
Control the quality of fabrication, erection and installation of piping systems
Verify compliance of welding procedures, welders’ qualifications and WPS/PQR
Perform visual inspections and NDT (VT, MT, PT) related to welding activities
Prepare, organise and follow up pressure testing activities (hydrostatic and pneumatic), ensuring quality and safety
Review, comment and approve contractors’ construction quality documentation (ITP, MDR, as‑built dossiers)
Manage non‑conformities (NCR), corrective and preventive actions
Participate in quality audits of subcontractors and suppliers
Coordinate QA/QC interfaces between disciplines, partners and subcontractors
Act as the main point of contact with local authorities and approved inspection bodies
Ensure QA/QC reporting (KPIs, progress, risks, trends) to the project management team
Ensure application of quality, safety and regulatory standards on site
Required Experience
Proven experience in welding activities, NDT (VT, MT, PT) and management of welders’ qualifications
Experience in preparation and follow‑up of hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests
Accustomed to working with international subcontractors and in multicultural environments
Experience in reviewing and approving construction quality documentation (ITP, MDR, final dossiers)
Practice of QA/QC reporting, non‑conformity management and corrective actions
Experience in dealing with local authorities and approved inspection bodies
Experience on hydrogen‑related projects or ATEX installations is a plus
Profile
Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC piping on large‑scale industrial projects.
Proven experience on EPC/E&C projects in the energy, chemical, petrochemical, or hydrogen sectors.
Strong background in inspection, QA/QC control, and piping supervision on site.
Proficient in ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.12 codes and standards
