Quality Manager

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Leadership

What You’ll Do:

Lead all plant quality operations, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide leadership to quality engineers, supervisors, technicians, and inspectors.

Drive successful new product launches, APQP activities, PPAP submissions, and production readiness.

Partner with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and operations to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.

Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and performance metrics.

Analyze quality data, customer concerns, warranty issues, and internal defects to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Lead customer audits, internal audits, and quality system compliance activities.

Serve as the Quality Management Representative for ISO 9001 and maintain quality system documentation.

Ensure customer expectations are met while improving product reliability and reducing quality costs.

Lead problem-solving efforts using structured quality methodologies and continuous improvement tools.

Leadership experience is the #1 priority.

We are looking for someone who has successfully led quality teams in an automotive manufacturing environment and can drive accountability, develop people, and build a culture of quality.

Launch experience is critical.

Candidates should have hands-on experience leading quality activities during new product launches, including APQP, PPAP, customer approvals, and production readiness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree highly .

5+ years of leadership/management experience in automotive manufacturing (strongly ).

7+ years of Quality experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience leading quality teams and cross‑functional initiatives.

Strong experience with:

New Product Launches

APQP

PPAP

Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Customer Quality

Internal & External Audits

ISO 9001 Quality Systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience working directly with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive customers is highly .

Experience:

Automotive stamping, metal forming, welding, or assembly manufacturing.

Statistical analysis and quality metrics.

Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.

Managing customer complaints and supplier quality issues.

Launching new programs from prototype through production.
